'La Parisienne' is a serie designed to take you Home with me. For those who do not know, Home for me has long been, and still is Paris, France. It is where I grew up, where I have my ties. I travel home every year, but the last trip in Paris felt different.

Pieces from this Serie are made using a luxurious velvet fabric, adorning a rendition of the Van Gogh Almond Blossom painting. Vincent Van Gogh chose to represent the branches of an almond tree - one of the earliest trees in spring, to symbolize the blossoming of a new life - a gift made to his brother and sister-in-law in celebration of the birth of his nephew named after him, Vincent.
